Millie watson

the journey so far...

Raised by Festival Traders, Millie spent her childhood summers travelling around the UK festival circuit. Bunking off School to kick of the season at Glastonbury, Millie had little choice but to be emersed in a rich soup of music and culture.

In between School and Festivals, Millie and her Dad were a regular on the Kent folk club scene. A safe haven for the old, tortured and sinical, Millie learnt her songwriting from the best.

A big old soul, right down to her bones, Millies music is deeply imbedded in folky roots. With her silky voice and husky tones she plays a range of melodies for the hopeless, and hopeful. Her raw honesty and warm stage presence leaves audiences melted and disarmed.

In 2023 Millie won "Best Newcomer" at the Dorset Music Awards. Later on that year she went on the win Tollpuddle Festival Acoustic competition, and play several sets at Glastonbury.

Millies latest single "Seabirds" has received multiple radio plays including BBC introducing, and ahead of her Debut album release, Millie has another busy year of dates ahead.
